The most recent update is constantly crashing on both my iPad 3 and iPhone 6. Loading up a template crashes it, tapping buttons crashes it. Switching templates crashes it. I cant even get into editing it.

The current version is broken and crashes on launch. Unusable. Please fix!

The manual is a joke, and while this may be powerful, Liine provides no videos or help to actually build anything powerful with Lemur. Ive been using applications like Max/MSP for years and have a solid understanding of programming concepts, but Liine provides nothing to help with learning, thus sits an expensive app that Id love to use but have no idea what to do with it or where to go to start learning how it works. Garbage!

If you have a Windows PC, this thing is completely god awful to setup. A nightmare. If youre a tech wiz with computers, you might be fine with this, but if you dont know the nitty gritty with networks, then this will give you a hard time. The lemur app is pretty cool, but I cant use it and Ive tried 3 times over 5 months, with no results. Wish I could have my money back. This was on a High end PC with good network card, running Windows 10.

After a couple of reinstalls, everything works. Best controller on iOS.

Couldnt be started IPad 4 iOS 9.0.2. Same on 5.1.1. Pls fix it

The app doesnr open and work. Its not free and its not tolerable. Fix it or give back the money.

Its not a real iOS app and you need a PC/MAC to work fully with it. Yes, there is a built in editor, but very limited..!you wont be able to add external templates without itunes and a computer, can drag and drop between templates, or easily do complex scripting and widget library cooyin. The Internal editor is limited to factory project and widget by widget editing.

Lemur + Ableton Live = PHENOMENAL COSMIC POWER. This app is incredible. It works flawlessly (if you know what youre doing), its beautiful to look at and the possibilities are endless. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Lemur. This version seems to be rock-solid and works immediately as soon as I boot up Ableton, which is all I really ask for (other apps of this nature can be kind of a nightmare to get going, and nothing kills inspiration like troubleshooting.) The only feature request I can think of is it would be nice if every controller showed its assigned MIDI Output Message while youre in Edit Mode. While Im duplicating buttons and whatnot, sometimes I forget to change the assigned output and I end up with two controls doing the same thing. This is such a minuscule thing to gripe about I feel a bit embarrassed bringing it up. Thank you to the developers for this unbelievable software. It blows my mind that we live in a world where stuff this cool exists.

There is a bug where when adding something to a layout your creating, the app will close and not save. Besides that getting in the way and being a big inconvenience, the app is great when working. The main problem is that the support is terrible and connecting it to Ableton on Windows and Mac is a nightmare! This app need work, but has incredible potential.

Im an old vinyl dj trying to make the switch to digital. This is not a plug and play piece of software, so be prepared to be baffled. Liine will tell you themselves, with flexibility comes complexity. I have not come close to realizing the full potential of Lemur yet, and it will take quite a bit more time. Having said that, the potential once unleashed seems to be almost endless. There are lots of user maps for most major digital dj and music creation software. So once you figure it out, you can control the world. The tech support is super responsive and sympathetic to the not so tech savvy user, that would be me. Unlike many other companies out there making awesome stuff, these guys actually want to help you unlock all the wonderful features their product has to offer. If you want to dj in the future today, this is for you. Skip the ad hoc setup and drop the $80 on the iConnnect2. More stable and decreases some headaches, it also works seamlessly. Stop reading reviews and start making music, its worth far more than the money youll drop :)
