I just got this App last week and I couldnt be happier. I had a couple of hiccups getting started and needed some support in which they help me out very quickly. I would highly recommend working with these people and buying their products.

It would probably be easier to learn programing from scratch and program your own midi interface than get this pile to even connect to your computer

Lemur is great and all but doesnt work with my class compliant interface that every other app and hardware has no problem with. No way to contact them for help except the forum where my problem went without comment. Im at least the second person that has posted about this device on the forum. Could just say yes we know why and it will be fixed soon or whenever we get to it. Or yes we know and it will never be fixed because ABC... Maybe even a really?!? Thats weird because it should work with all class compliant devices. Anywho, Ill update my review if it ever gets fixed because it seems to work with all other devices and is a great program.

Ive been using the lemur since the original hardware came out. Give huge props to Richie and the team for licensing and moving the environment over to ipad. Runs smoother, no cables, more options. Only thing I wish is they would write the lemurloader for x64. Hasnt been updated and the source code hasnt been released. Moving to a x64 environment you are no longer able to use the MU interface.

Seems like some good stuff was added, but I cant say how good because it wont connect to my pc and when I try to download a (factory added) template from the app to the editor on my pc, it shuts down the edit program because of an error. Because I payed $50 for an app that no longer works, and Liine has yet reply to either my forum post or email, I will be leaving one star (as well as being vocal within my social networks)until it is working properly.

Ive used several other touch interfaces for controlling Ableton Live 9 and this is the one Ive settled on. Touchable is awesome too but you cant change the layout and its Ableton only. Touch osc is cool also but doesnt hold a candle to Lemur. The new step sequencers and the ability to alter layouts from the iPad are reasons enough to shell out the $

If you need to do anything with extended sysex strings or a device id of 0 do not update. If you dont know what that means, you shouldnt buy this app either. It will waste your time and good luck getting support to reply to emails. The only template I ever got working I stupidly decided to use in a performance and now version 5 has broken even that template. None of their user contributed templates work right and their editor is awful to use. Its a good idea, but this is not the professional quality app the price would lead you to believe.

This app is the best I know for controlling Live via IOS. Its quite easy to set up, but what sets it apart from so many others is its flexibility in connecting either through hardware or wireless. The control it provides is incredible, and opens up new opportunities to explore creative avenues previously undiscovered. My wife even appreciates it because since using this app I have significantly uncluttered my workstation. Almost everything I need to compose, record, remix, edit, and master is right at my fingertips on my iPad. Compared to what a hardware controller costs this is a steal! I also found customer support fast and effective. 5 stars all around.

Forget buying 4 different controllers that are gonna take up a boatload of space, get this app and CREATE your OWN CUSTOM MIDI INTERFACES SERIOUSLY ITS AMAZING

I highly recommend Lemur, the level of control is quite amazing and their tech support always responds in a friendly and helful manner! Super!

Ok, this is nothing short of amazing. Any app that can receive Midi or OSC can be controlled. Not only that, but you can design your own interface to control that app. Fully configurable. And with the update, you can now script widgets as well. Want to build a sequencer? No problem. Redesign your layout on the fly, just from your iPad? Easy. Completely customizable with physics involved to make your sounds specific to you and unique. This is an advanced application, with a learning curve. However, the work you put in will pay off. This is a must have app on your iOS devices if you are into music production.

After upgrading to Livecontrol 2.3.1 everything stopped working and Linne support does not respond to my issues. I paid $50.00 for this app and it has been the biggest waste of money I have ever done. If you use Ableton Live go with Touchable instead. I hope Linne ralizes that giving bad tech support is killing customers.

Great App but iOS 8 and 5.0.3 have rendered the app useless, Please Update Soon.

PLEASE FIX ! Just hangs at boot screen :(

Broken on ios8, otherwise this app rocks!

For those of you that have already updated their iPads to iOS 8 and need to run the Lemur app that is not updated as of yet, dont freak out it is very simple to downgrade. first find iOS 7.1.2 firmware online and download it to your computer, back up your device to iTunes for later recovery. Place your device into DFU mode, hold down the option key when you click the button to restore this iPad and select your newly downloaded iOS 7 .1 .2 and you will successfully downgrade, I cannot find any information when Lemur will make these updates for iOS 8 but until then, if youre like me and you rely on this application then you would need to do the above. Im sure the developers appreciate your patience on this matter and I can assure you when the update is complete it will be well worth the wait. 5 stars when they fix the iOS 8 B.S.

As many of you know, as of today, the incredible lemur app doesnt yet work well with iOS 8. The main problem being that u cant save or load projects. However, I figured out a work around for myself until compatibility is implemented. • download all of ur lemur projects from the iPad Via iTunes. • make a connection to lemur via the companion lemur editor software on ur computer. • load the project u want in lemur on the editor software and it will show up on ur ipad. You may now use this project on the iPad.

If you can think it, you can do it! I use it with Logic Pro 9, and it works wonderfully! The midi channel need to be reselected for each parameter each time I boot up logic, but it is unstoppable! Its a pretty steep learning curve, but the more you learn, the more capabilities it has!
